Rain Rain go away
We have had too much rain. Usually our lament here is that it is too dry.
Well right now my front lawn resembles a rice patty not a lawn, though it is a pretty green. Our river has over flown it’s banks in places and many people have lost things and some have lost homes because of the rain. As for the problem of the rain causing the sewer to back up- we just don’t want to go there.
Our store has sold out of rain gear, shop vacs and the large plastic containers are flying off the shelves. We have managed to remain dry, which I am most grateful for. But some sunshine by now would also be appreciated.
