Burgers and fries
Tonight I had my first veggie burger. When I loaded it with onion and dill pickle I could not tell the difference between it and those pre made burgers at the store.
My waste line will know the difference as it had practially no fat.
I do not think I will be eating them often as I am not overly fond of burgers anyway.
It was an interesting experiment.
We also checked out the organic and vegetarian places in town and bought some stuff.
I bought some flax seed as I have heard so many people saying it is good for you. I think later tonight I will grind up some and put it into my fruit smoothy.
I also discovered that buying a lot of vegetables instead of meat cause the fridge to fill up!
I have been living on this new system for only 3 days and already I see I am getting full much faster and staying satisfies until the next meal. My scale has also dropped 3 pounds and I am enjoying water and much less diet pop.
I also have not thought much about food when in the past if I have gone on a diet, I almost thought about nothing else. But I am changing how I think and feel and act around food and making slow changes in eating healthy and not counting the calories or the ‘points’.
We will see how this adventures goes.
