my friend
Had supper tonight with a dear friend. and I learned something new about her… she loves muffins! How did I come to this conclusion? I will have to take you back to the beginning of the evening.
About 15 of us gathered together at a restaurant to have a farewell party for my friend. After we all ate too much, she was presented with a gift and a card. When she opened the gift it was 12 large muffins. She grinned and giggled and told us she would not share them with us. It was then that I learned that when she had her lunch breaks she would often buy one of these large muffins from a machine in the staff lounge.
You know, you work with someone for nearly 2 years and you think you know them and then you go to a party and discover something new!
Hope she enjoys her muffins.
