A Dog's Life?
An interesting phrase which we can use to mean different things.
But what is a dog’s life like?
I watch our dog. He is an intelligent and affectionate animal.
He likes to have attention and he likes to give us attention.
He warns us of danger and protects us.
He is willing to share and play. He shows us pain in his eyes when he is hurting, he senses when we are hurting and tries to comfort us.
He greets us warmly when we return as if we are the best thing he has seen all day.
He pouts and even cries sometimes when we leave.
He likes romping through snow but he hates being wet in the rain.
He likes to run in the sun and dig holes in the yard and he is very much a part of this family.
