Grin and Bear it
The title of an old comic strip but also a bit a philosophy of mine.
If you have to live through it at least find something funny, amusing or if all else fails laugh at yourself in the situation. It is a great stress reliever and I am of the belief that we all take ourselves far too seriously any way.
My old grandfather used to say “Cry more, pee less.”
I think it should be, “Laugh more, you still may pee but who cares you are laughing.”
I come from a rich amusing heritage of Irish, English and Canadian humor.
