Boxing Week drama

The store opened at 8 am on the 26 th, I arrived at 7:40 am, as I knew there would be a crowd ins spite of the freezing temperatures, and I needed to be ready to start by 7:50 am. I waved my work vest and shouted, “Excuse me, I need to get in to work!” The people gave me nasty looks but when they saw I was a real employee, they let me through. One other woman, had a nasty man grab her arm and yank her back. She had to get nasty back to get her arm free and she ended up 2 minutes late for work. Some people! and all this because some of the stuff was on sale….. it’s not like it’s that important. Some of the stuff that was in the Boxing Week flier was sold out by 8:30 am and then the rest of the day I had angry people who accused me of hiding things, and not supplying enough. I don’t decide what gets ordered and it would be pretty stupid of me to hide stuff in the back of the store instead of selling it. Things were still pretty crazy on the 27 th and I hope it’s a little calmer today when I get there. I think Boxing week shoppers are nuttier then the Christmas week shoppers.
