Easter sunday
Here we are sitting at home with the turkey in the oven, the stuff for the meal as well as the stuff for the punch waiting in our kitchen to be put together.
Hubby is sitting in his chair brushing the dog (Pepsi's favorite past time) and I got to thinking about this weekend.
Friday, I had to work and it was a busy day and I thought. One more day where we used to stay home or go to church with our families, but now we are out shopping for stuff and getting miserable in crowds.
Saturday, I was out doing some last minute stuff and practicing for an up coming anniversary weekend. I saw that again there were crowds in the store, people being rushed and angry and wanting their stuff. But not at home with their families.
This morning was nice, we went to church for a nice breakfast and had time together with people, with family. Then off to the service where there were people we had not seen in about a year.
It reminded me of a cartoon I read this morning.

I wonder why some people only go to church when it's a 'special' occasion.
