Learning ain’t easy

My son survived his first job. He quit today but I fully support his decision. This has been a learning experience for both of us. My son has learned that some people rise to become bosses who are still too immature to handle the responsibility. My son has learned to hang in there against difficult people and to do an honest days work. I am very proud of my son. Even when he quit today, he was calm, civil and mature about it. There will be other jobs in his life and I know he will do his best and be an assent to any business who is wise enough to hire him. I have also learned from the experience, how to stand back and let him learn without smothering but close enough to be a support to him.

  1. Yes, learning isn’t easy, and what is harder is when you have to learn as a parent. It isn’t easy to let your young ones “spread their wings.” (I may not have human children, but I do have my 5 feline children.) I am glad you have had this experience to learn from.
