Shoppers can be the dumbest people

We are under renovations. Today, they opened the new entrance and closed off the old one.

They had a huge, as in 6 feet high and 8 feet long sign over the new entrance saying... NEW ENTRANCE.

At the old one, they put a big construction fence around it and put brown paper over the doors and put up big arrows pointing to the new entrance with the words, new entrance on the inside of the building.

Now, at this point, the customer has already come in the new entrance, they have shopped and now are heading out the door, past the signs with arrows, past the papered out doors, trying to get out the old entrance!

Yes, and more then one tried it today.

At the new entrance, are the shopping carts. Many passed them by today and walked to where the carts used to be and then came over to a staff member to complain that there were no carts.

When they were told the carts are back at the new entrance, you passed them on the way in, the reply was... "NO! I did not!"

It's like they all get tunnel vision and can't see anything once they walk through those doors.
