New Car?

We have been planning to trade in our old van this summer and get something smaller with better gas mileage.

I have been checking out dealership web sites and checking prices and going over our budget.

this last Saturday I dropped in at a dealership in town and talked to a salesman. A single salesman. I know he was single before he told me because he was wearing white Pat Boone shoes, pinstripe black pants, a multicolored shirt in blues and greens and a red tie..... I know that if he was married he would not have left the house in that state. I kind of felt sorry for him but maybe that's what he was going for, pity.

Anyway, he showed me the model I wanted, but one with all the bells and whistles and over my price range. I told him what we could afford and what we wanted. He said he'd see what he could do about this one. So next Saturday hubby and I are going for a test drive and see what he comes up with.

I know we are not going to budge on our budget and I am in no hurry to buy so I can wait for another car with just what we want and at a better price.

We shall see if he is desperate to sell or not.
