The last gift

I will be picking up the last gift today! shopping and wrapping will be done Then I hope to get some cookies made this weekend. My mother left us a small fruit cake and in about a week I am suppose to remove the cheese cloth. Mary has already got dibbs on the tin it comes in. I wonder how you make almond paste because I love that on my fruit cake but it is expensive to buy. I may just settle for cheese on top. I hope to make some almond cookies and sugar cookie and maybe even some short bread cookies. anyone hungry yet?
