a visit
I just had a very nice but unexpected visit with my sister, her family and my parents.
It was very short but even in that limited time, I saw so much growth and change in my sister and in my brother in law.
It makes me miss them now even more because I felt a real close connection with them.
Maybe it's because we now have both lived through many of the same kinds of experiences in life that force you to come to terms with or die inside.
The competition of childhood was completely gone and we were able to share our news and experiences on a level plane.
I treasure the memory of that one day and look forward to other visits.
