On This Auspicious Occasion

I would like to thank all those people who prayed and encouraged me and those who were my mentors and running mates.

 Today I was promoted and starting Monday I am the new department manager of furniture.

What does this mean?

It means I get a steady income, with some clout (not much but some).

I don't have to put in evenings and weekends with the exception of coming up to inventory. 

I will now be home for supper every night and my schedule will be regular!

As the days unfold I will  share my ups and downs as there are some things I must learn and there is a certain ammount of stress as in any job but I know I can do this.
