W.A.V.E. training part 2
ok Now I know that a wave stands for Work Asistance Vehicle.
I listened to the lecture, watched the video, did the test and the practical- moving the machine.
It only goes up 20 feet and was a bit jerky but I'll get the hang of it.
The training was suppose to start at 1pm, I was suppose to be off at 3pm.... The training started at 2:30pm and I finally clocked out at 4:45pm. So I also get overtime!
It was fun and will come in handy on those days when we have our huge plastice containers sitting up on the highest shelf. They are too awkward to bring down on the ladder.
So now there are 9 more of us on the staff trained and he is training 8 more this evening.
It has been a long day though. I also had our usual Thursday morning safety team meeting, followed by 6 hours of sluggiong around plastic containers. They had to be moved to a new location in the aisle.
tomorrow it's get things ready for a new flyer coming out on Saturday morning. and also the last day for my dept. manager before she goes to her new job at another store. I will miss her sense of humor.

So do you get up on it (like a window washer/painter etc.) or is it more like a crane?
Did you have a party for your dept. manager?
I hope you get the job!
