Waiting

I hate waiting and yet I seem to be doing it much of the time.

Now I am waiting to hear from a company that I hope will hire me. It's worse waiting for something you really want.

But then there is other waiting that I suppose is worse, the waiting for test results from doctors that will either tell you you are ok or you have a death sentence.

Some waiting is more pleasant like the waiting for the birth of a child- at least then you know the out come.

I don't believe any of us like to wait but I can also see how awful it would be if you knew ahead what was to be. It could make you very depressed or lose any joy or anticipation in life if y ou knew what would happen.

So for now I wait, and wait.....

now what can I do next to take my mind off the waiting?
