sales clerks beware

Some people should have a nap instead of going out shopping.

It would be better for them and much better for the poor sales clerk that has to deal with them.

Since when does customer service mean You are their slave and must produce instantly all they require?

Do people really think you as a sales person are trying to get them mad, and keeping back products? After all if you are in sales isn't the idea that you want to sell not hide it?

Yet I get asked every day,"Are you sure you don't have one in the back?"

"Yes ma'am, we are hiding one in the back so you can't have one."

My next one is the "I saw it in your flyer"

That does not guarantee that we still have the item 2 weeks after you saw it, and then there are the flyer people who see things in other stores flyers and demand that we have it.

I had one lady flash her flyer in my face demanding that I produce the item in question. I got the flyer out of her hand and proceeded to show her that it was a flyer of another store and we did not have that item. She was still angry because she figured we should carry it.....
