Why?
Such a small word but one that is not so easily responded to.
There are trite easy answers but the whys of life should not be passed off so easily. I don't know that we know the answer but that does not mean we can completely ignore the question.
It is human nature to want to ask it. Why.
Why am I here?
What does it mean?
Why did you do that?
Why did I do that?
There was a time in my life when I thought I knew the answers, I had them all lined up neatly but over time I have come to see that many of my answers have been wrong or incomplete.
It's like the older I get the more I question. Life is a lot more complex then I first thought. I also no longer demand to have an answer but some of the why's I am content to leave as a question or maybe with just a partial answer that I can comprehend.
I don't think I will ever stop asking why and looking to find those answers but I think it is healthier to ask then to close my mind as if I knew all there was to know.
