Trust
Had an issue at work today. I am not completely sure how I will deal with this but I am going to be thinking it through.
I have been working at this place for nearly 3 years. and have always gotten very good reports and raises to go with it.
Now, in their so called desire to get the lazy people to work, they are having all of us fill in reports stating what we have done on our shift.
Now I think, hey this won't stop the lazy ones from either lying or just not doing the job.
But it causes me to have less time to do my job because I have to fill in these stupid forms telling them what I am doing. Now this still does not prove I did the things I am telling them unless they check up on me at the end of my shift which is not only impractical it's insane. If I can't be trusted to do my job then why did they hire me?
I know I should not take this personally but I am and I am also taking it personally for the majority of the staf who do, do their jobs.
Why not target the lazy bums and leave the rest of us alone?
