Tis the Season?

Sigh, the madness has begun and already some customers are getting their cranky Christmas selves.

Starting 2 weeks from now we begin the Christmas hours.

Like people can't get their shopping done like they do the 11 other months of the year. Oh well at least as a full time I will only have to work a total of 6 late late shifts before it's over.

Our family has decided to live differently. We began about 6 months ago just giving gifts to each other when ever and not doing the 'Christmas' thing by going crazy with gifts. I believe it will make things less crazy for my one daughter who can not deal with excessive excitement. It makes her ill and she can not cope. It also makes every day of the year something special because we no longer wait for a certain date to give a gift. We can feel free to give any time.

Now we will still be decorating because it's nice to and we will still be having our turkey and stuff but December the 25th will be a relaxing day and we will have time to genuinely stop to think about our Saviour and not so nuts about the 'stuff'.
