Christmas part 2

I have a 4 foot tree sitting on a table in my living room with the angel on the top…. that’s all so far. I still have to dig out the decorations to see what will fit on this smaller tree and what will go to charity. I also plan to get a smaller nativity this year. Do you know you can’t seem to get one that does not have magi? They did not show up for several months yet they are pictured as coming to the stable. They came to the house where they were living. Yes, it was in Bethlehem, yes it is certainly a part of the story…... so I guess I will find a set where they are separate and I can have them on the way instead of at the stable. What’s the point of carrying on for the sake of tradition instead of getting it right.

  1. To answer your question, I think most people would give some sort of outrageous excuse/conspiracy about how the magi actually did come to the stable, and our ‘corrupted’ Bible’s have been altered so they don’t show that. eyes rolling
    I know that we always have no fewer than 5 different nativity’s on display during the Christmas season. It will be so good to get our stuff out a decorate this year. (We haven’t done so in about 3 years.)
