Old Friends
Two old friends of mine just married each other about 2 weeks ago. I am so happy for them, they were lonely and now they both are just glowing.
I am also happy for me because this marriage means my old girlfriend who I have not seen in 5 years is now living just a 20 minute drive from me instead of an 8 hour drive away.
We are going to be able to get together now and then, what fun!
I was just commiserating the other day that there seemed to be no one here I could chat with over lunch. No friend who shared a history and had time for me.
Now I do! God looks after me even when I don’t ask.
