Canada Day
I confess I did not do a lot of celebrating our country’s holiday, yesterday, but I was aware what day it was, the 138th year of our existence. I spent some time relaxing and some time painting my daughter’s room.
Our neighbor 2 doors down, the one who mows his 6 feet of lawn with a riding mower… had his flags out. Well, He does have a large Canadian flag flying in front of his little bungalow all the time but he added several small flags yesterday to his roof. It looks almost like a check stop for a border crossing.
Takes all kinds they say but we do have some interesting neighbors.
